Are you interested in Military Vehicles? What about vintage vehicle restoration? How about getting your hands greasy? Do you enjoy driving your vehicle and showing it to the public? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then this is the Website for you.

Who are we? We are the East Surrey West Kent Area of the Military Vehicle Trust, an organisation comprising of enthusiasts dedicated to researching, restoring, running and showing vintage and veteran military vehicles. You do not have to own a vehicle to join us, all you need is an interest in things military. Some of our members have parabikes, and one has a field hospital.

Our oldest vehicle at present is a mobile field kitchen that dates from November 1914 and is sometimes horse drawn. We have a number of vehicles that date from the First World War as well as 1930's and 1940's (a page of thumbnail pictures) as well as Land Rovers and Bedfords from the 1950's to the present day. If you are interested in joining, you can do this by faxing the membership application form (see the link below) to the membership secretary. You can also EMail him direct (also see the link below). You will get four copies of the Club's magazine, 'The Windscreen' (just something for you to look through) plus six copies of the 'Wants, slaes and what's on magazine,Greensheet (because it was originally printed on sheets of green paper) per year, plus many other benefits. In the UK there is a branch of the Trust near you, from us in the wilds of Surrey, to the north of Scotland. Elsewhere in Europe we can put you in touch with our sister organisations in the EU. and the rest of the World, as far apart as Canada and New Zealand.

If you are restoring a vehicle we can often offer help with research and reference details. Often you will find other members that own, or have owned, or driven your particular vehicle in the Armed Forces, and know every nook, quirk, and shortcut of your vehicle. There are many members with vehicles undergoing restoration, and to help those persons we have a wants & sales page to enable them to trace that elusive missing bit.
The Greensheet also has a listing of what's on in the coming months.

If you live in the East Surrey or West Kent area and you feel like coming along to one of our Club meetings, they are held on the first Wednesday in the month. For nonmembers wanting to join or just find out more about us the address for the meetings is the Plough and Attic Rooms, High Street, Rusper,Nr Horsham, West Sussex RH12 4PX . Meetings start at 8pm. If you live in other parts of the UK and are interested in joining, or just want to find out more about us, check out the main MVT site (link at the top of this page), or EMail the membership secretary direct for details of your local area.

Also for non members that are thinking of joining us (you don't need to own a vehicle) you can join online or download a membership application form.
